Works to well and caught on fire

I had this item for 3 weeks and it worked very well, so well in fact that I had to clean it out every morning as it would be full of dead bugs. I gave it 2 stars as it should be easier to clean out, I have to get the leaf blower out every morning to blow it out and had to use a pipe brush twice to remove heavy concentrations of dead bugs. Second reason for 2 stars was that after the third week one night it caught all the dead bugs on fire and the unit burned up. The mfg won't replace the unit saying I should run it less or clean it out during the night if its full again ( I'm not getting up in the middle of the night to clean out the zapper). Because of the cleaning frequency, fire hazard and the manufacture's poor attitude I won't recommend this unit to anyone. Read more
