Less than Stellar Performance

While this unit does a wonderful job of attracting mosquitoes, we found that it was far less than satisfactory regarding the non-clogging grid. We purchased this item and hung it as directed (noting the cautionary text stating that it could become a fire-hazard when clogged up). Less than twenty minutes later, the unit was completely covered in mosquito carcasses, and they were sticking to the grid, not falling to the ground as claimed. We hooked up the air compressor and fought the mosqitoes to blow off the grid(the canned air that we bought did not have enough power to disperse the fried insects). We found that we could run this light for about fifteen to thirty minutes tops before the killing grid was so covered in insects that the light and grid were severly compromised. We did not think that we had a serious mosquito problem when we initially purchased this item - we were more concerning with the gnats that congregated near our porch lights.
